Apply for a Grant

For three decades, we've supported the dreams and ambitions of teachers in Collierville Schools. We're excited you're considering sharing yours with us. This application is the first step in the process.

We strive to make this process seamless and straightforward. Please review the grant process, needed information and policies before starting your application.

Dates & deadlines

Grant applications open Aug. 5 and close Oct. 26. Grants will be graded in October and awards will be announced in November. All funds will be disbursed by Dec. 31.

Our process

Have an Idea

It all starts with an idea! Think about the tools that would take your lessons to the next level – and find out what it takes to make them happen. Make sure you review our funding do's and don'ts before moving forward.

Seek Approval

Before you can apply, we must confirm that your idea aligns with your school's and the district's goals. Complete this form and submit it to administration. You'll need a signed version attached to your application.

Gather Materials

Once your school's administration signs off on your idea, you're ready to apply! Before you move on to our simple online application, make sure you have all of your needed documents ready for submission.

Submit Your Application

With your school's approval and your documents prepared, you're ready to apply for a grant! You can do so easily by submitting your materials online.

Funding do's and don'ts

CEF grants fund teacher ambitions – and the list of our grant projects is long and varied! But, there is a short list of items we will not fund and a few rules to follow when submitting your grant application. Please review this list closely. Applications that don't align with these guidelines will be immediately disqualified.

Teacher Grant Application

Describe the project, rationale for need and anticipated impact. Any references to your name, school or mascot will disqualify your application.

Which CS2030 Strategic Plan focus area does your request support?

All grants must support one of the CS2030 strategic plan initiatives outlined in the dropdown menu. In the next field, you'll be required to explain how your grant supports this objective. Visit https://www.colliervilleschools.org/cs2030 to learn more.

Describe how your project will contribute to the district's CS2030 Strategic Plan focus area you selected above. Any references to your name, school or mascot will disqualify your application.

State the anticipated number of students whom this project will impact in the short and long term. Consider whether this project can be shared across departments or classrooms and the longevity of the materials from school year to school year.

This number should match the final total of your attached grant itemization spreadsheet. This field will be graded based on the total cost compared to the anticipated impact. All grant requests over $10,000 must be presented to the CEF board.

Explain how you'll track, measure or quantify the impact this grant has on individual students, the classroom or the school overall. Any references to your name, school or mascot will disqualify your application.

If the grant spans grades, choose the grade in which most students will be impacted.
