Funding teacher’s ambitions at the 2021 Teacher Appreciation Luncheon:

In July, CEF held its 32nd annual Teacher Appreciation Luncheon. Thanks to help from the Town of Collierville, we were able to honor the exceptional educators of Collierville Schools by giving $10,000 worth of mini-grants to teachers at each school.

Luncheon guests heard from numerous special guests and local leaders, all while chowing down on some delicious BBQ made by CEF board member and 2019 Memphis in May Whole Hog World Champion, Dusty Walley! And as a special surprise, President of Lander's Auto Group, Kent Ritchey, presented a $10,000 donation to a lucky school whose name he drew out of a hat – Sycamore Elementary School. He then gave $1,000 to each of the other nine schools,
for a total donation of $19,000 to schools in Collierville!
