This year, we kicked off the grant season by awarding $50 mini-grants to some of our outstanding Collierville educators. Congratulations to the following teachers:

Bailey Station Elementary


Bailey Station Elementary teachers Ashley Billions, Scarlett Marsh, Carrie Moore and Ann Taylor will use their grants to purchase book vending machines, monarch butterfly gardens and much more. 

Crosswind Elementary

Our Crosswind Elementary School grant recipients – Martha-Carol Carpenter, Kathy Hauss, Megan Heinrich, Lisa McGee, Valerie Meiners-Smith and Jessica Shaver – will teach about beekeeping, circuitry and optimize classroom seating with their CEF grant awards. 

Collierville Middle School

Barbara Hunter and Laura McLemore of Collierville Middle School will enrich their students’ educational experience by purchasing equipment that encourages student movement in the classroom.

Schilling Farms Elementary

Sycamore Elementary School

Schilling Farms Elementary teachers Jennifer Conti, Erin Reagan and Karsyn Sewell will use their grant funds to buy physics exploration equipment, school bike racks and other innovative classroom materials. 

Sycamore Elementary School grant recipient Lynn Rushdi will use her grant to supplement the school library with nonfiction books that cover a diverse range of people, places and events. 

Tara Oaks Elementary School

The Tara Oaks Elementary School’s CEF grant recipients – Ashley Bibbs, Jana Blanchard, Risa Elder, Susan Hathhorn, Amber McCollum and Lori Streitmatter – will purchase lesson materials like computer programming technology, Apple Pencils and so much more! 

Collierville Elementary School

Collierville Elementary School students will practice scientific data collection and enjoy flexible classroom seating thanks to CEF grant recipients Lauren Baker and Tracey James. 

Collierville High School

Collierville High School teachers Brittany Clark, Kellie Dodd and Dana Wilson will use their grant funds to purchase a sensory support swing, special curriculum for students living with developmental disabilities and sensory awareness materials that provide mental and physical relaxation.
